Today, Gold Planar uses all of its years of knowledge and experience to design proprietary in-house planar magnetic diaphragm drivers that exceed the performance values of modern day standards
28mm Planar Magnetic Diaphragm Driver. The GL20 is an innovative in-ear earphone that utilizes a proprietary full size 28mm planar magnetic driver with an ultra-thin nano-membrane diaphragm. With the addition of a powerful N50 neodymium magnet, the large driver creates an incredible flux that drives an extraordinarily detailed and rich sound. The GL20 features an upgraded in-house driver with renovated internal structure and membrane material. The redesign increases the airflow and the responsiveness of the driver, allowing an even more comprehensive sound compared to our prior models.
Sound Features. The GL20 was tuned focusing on a more balanced, yet detailed sound. The frequency response from 5Hz to 40kHz ensures a full coverage of the entire frequency spectrum, focusing on the powerful bass characteristics of the planar magnetic driver, but transitioning into a warm and full mid section and transparent trebles. With an Open Back design, the airflow allows a 3D holographic sensation that is only possible through the nature of the planar diaphragm. The GL20 harbors an extremely unique and Hi-Fi sound that is unlike anything else in the field
Comfortable Wearing Experience. Inspired by the animation character “Peppa Pig”. The unique cone-like shape of the GL20 fits securely and deeply into the ear canal for a firm seal, but the outer shape of the GL20 sits comfortably on the surface of the ear. This structural design also helped us to create an internal cavity that focuses the sound directly into the ear canal to avoid any unwanted interference. With an interchangeable cable, the GL20 also allows the freedom to try different cables to find the most perfect wearing comfort and sound
