FiiO BTR5, Portable Bluetooth Receiver, DAC and Amplifier: Bluetooth DAC/AMP with MQA Support (BTR 5, BTR05)
FiiO BTR5 has been one of the best Bluetooth+USB DAC/AMP in the market.
Today, FiiO has announced its upgrade to the famous BTR5, the all-new FiiO BTR5 2021. Rather than upgrade, we can also call this a revised variant for the BTR5. The latest BTR5 2021 brings us a new, updated ES9219C Dual DAC chipset that enables MQA decoding with the BTR5. As for Bluetooth, FiiO has equipped the latest BTR5 2021 with Qualcomm’s flagship CSR8675 Bluetooth chip that provides Bluetooth V5.0 connectivity with LDAC, aptX LL, aptX, SBC, AAC codec support. It is equipped with an XMOS XU208 USB signal receiver chip providing excellent high-resolution audio decoding with a USB connection too.
Your Pocket MQA Decoder:-
Master Quality Authenticated(MQA) is the latest trend in high-resolution audio signal structures. It is featured mostly in mid to high-end music players. BTR5 2021 brings this latest technology to your pocket. Just note that the MQA decoding works only over the USB connection.
Upgraded Sabre DAC Chip:-
The highly appreciated BTR5 Bluetooth DAC/AMP featured Sabre’s ES9219P dual DAC chipset. People have loved its performance. Keeping this in mind, FiiO has provided a slight upgrade in DAC with the BTR5 2021. It features dual ES9219C DAC chips. This DAC chip delivers the same favorite performance as the former model but this time it brings for us is the added MQA decoding support. The BTR5 2021 produces a clean output that has ultra-low distortion and clean, noise-free background.
High-resolution USB Decoding, With The Help Of XMOS USB Receiver:-
FiiO BTR5 2021 features an advanced XMOS XU208 USB signal receiver chip that provides high-resolution PCM and DSD decoding support as well as MQA support with a Type-C connection. BTR5 2021 supports PCM decoding up to 32-Bit/384kHz and DSD up to DSD256 natively.
FPGA Clock & Dual Crystal Oscillators:-
FPGA Architectures are usually used in high-end music players. It is responsible for the transmission, reception, and clock management of audio signals. In BTR5 2021, a specially developed FPGA architecture greatly reduces the jitter and improves signal stability. FiiO BTR5 uses two independent crystal oscillators(45.1584/45.152 MHz) that helps in the accurate reproduction of the audio signal under various sampling rates.
Dual Headphone Output:-
FiiO BTR5 2021 houses two headphone outputs, 3.5mm single-ended and 2.5mm balanced. Users can pair their IEMs and headphones with the BTR5 with ease. It also supports an in-line mic and remote control to easily access calls and media playback features.
