It is based on the technology of multi-BA Mason Flagship and UM’s self-patented Bone Conduction technology used in their highly appreciated Mest and Mest MK ii IEMs. Unique Melody has combined all BA’s with Bone Conduction technology to deliver a product with an ultimate resolution, spacious soundstage, 3D imaging, and most realistic texture and timbre. The Mason FS(Fabled Special Edition) is a super limited pair limited to only 20 sets for the first batch, each batch production period is about six to seven months.

Mason FS features 12 Balanced Armature Drivers and a dual-sided Bone Conduction driver. Unique Melody has custom-designed large-size BA drivers that provide significant advantages in soundstage size and distortion control. The bone conduction system provides full-range signal refinement by adding weight and density to the sound.
Five-Way Crossover:-
The multiple drivers in Unique Melody Mason FS are arranged in a five-way crossover design to ensure a natural sound output with ultra-low distortion issues. There are four BA drivers for the lower end, four for the mid-frequencies, two for upper-mids and lower treble, two for the treble portions, and a dual-sided bone conduction driver for full-range.

The ear cavities in UM Mason FS are made with professional craftsmanship using premium stabilization and CNC machining processes. They are made using Cholla, a species in the family of Cactaceae. It is a very rare material as a stem of Cholla grows about only 1 inch in a year making it hundreds of years to grow before it can be used.
