FiiO Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifier K9 Is Officially Released!
The K7 has been so popular ever since it was released. However, some audiophiles are expecting another model with more advanced performance and more functions, while the high-end K9 Pro is less affordable. This time, the desktop DAC and headphone amplifier is coming for you.
The K9 uses two ES9068AS DACs that handle the left and right channels respectively, and a THX AAA 788+ amplifier which is usually applied to desktop devices, giving it an extraordinary 1% undistorted power output up to 780mW at 300Ω and up to 2000mW at 32Ω. No matter if you use low-impedance or high-impedance headphones, the K9 will drive it with aplomb. In addition, thanks to the dual clock management technology, the K9 can easily handle up to 768kHz/32bit PCM and DSD512 audio decoding, as if you were on the scene with the performing artists.
Being the K9 series, the K9 employs the same six-stage audio circuit as used in the high-end desktop DAC/Amp, the K9 Pro. As a fully balanced design, it helps to greatly reduce crosstalk and achieve more authentic sound performance.
In addition, we worked hard on its power supply. For example, the digital and analog portions receive power separately; the linear transformer is paired with 4 massive 4700uF high-capacity and durable capacitors; also, in the audio circuit is power stabilization and filtering. As a result, the K9 is ensured with abundant power for excellent sound performance.
