Now with balanced and SE output
Buidling off the what made the BTR3 so good, the BTR3K implements balanced output. It is a truly balanced design, with a DAC and amplifier carefully paired for the left and right channels each, for the purest sound possible.
Robust, full-bodied sound, High performance AK4377A DACs
With two high-performance AK4377A DACs, the power output has increased by 50% compared to the AK4376 used in the BTR3K as well as greatly improved measurements and actual sound.
Distortion -107dB | S/N Ratio 122dB |
Output power balanced 78mW | Output power SE 25mW
Qualcomm CSR8675 Flagship-level Bluetooth abilities
The Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth chip used in the BTR3K is a premium low-power solution designed for enhanced audio applications, with a 120 MHz DSP, support for 24-bit transmission and processing as well as abilities to decode multiple lossless Bluetooth codecs.
Support for the AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX HD/LDAC audio formats ensures that you’ll get the best sound quality possible from the BTR3K.
Independent dual crystal oscillators for accurate audio reproduction
The dual crystal oscillator system in the BTR5 also comes to the BTR3K! The 22.5792M/24.576 MHz dual crystal oscillators mean that during Bluetooth and USB decoding, the BTR3K can more accurately reproduce audio signals under various sampling rates – due to greatly reduced jitter and greatly increased audio stability.
Intelligently puts your music at your fingertips
When your device is connected to the BTR3K and is using the FiiO Music app to play music, the BTR3K can be remotely controlled with the following functions:
2、Switch between 4 kinds of audio filters
3、10-band professional EQ (equalizer)*EQ invalid in LDAC codec
Technical support for BTR3K
1.How to connect the BTR3K to new devices?
Pairing mode With blue and red lights flashing alternately, it means it is in pairing mode. Note that the first time you turn on th power or clear the pairing information, the BTR3K will automatically enter the pairing mode. How to connect to new devices 1.Ensure the BTR3K is in pairing mode: long press the play/pause button for 5s to enter pairing mode with blue and red indicator lights flashing alternatively. 2.Enter Bluetooth Settings on your phone, choosing the BTR3K to complete the connection.
2.Why does the volume of the mobile phone not change when the BTR3K adjusts the volume?
1.There is a memory function within the BTR3K so that it can automatically adjust the volume. 2. We have deliberately designed the volume adjustment of the BTR3K out of sync with the mobile phone which makes it possible to adjust the volume in a more precise level and avoid many problems. What the mobile phone can adjust is the the volume of the Bluetooth codec. If its volume is too small, the dynamic effect would be affected. While the BTR3K controls the volume of decoding and amplification which can decrease the loss of the sound quality. Therefore, it is recommended to adjust the volume of the phone to the maximum, and control the volume by the BTR3K.
3.Does the BTR3K support in-line remote and the microphone function？
In-line remote The BTR3K supports the CTIA standard for line control as well as line microphone. But the headsets with OMTP protocol only support normal listening. Microphone recording Android-based cellphones can normally use WeChat,Wechat calls, QQ voice and QQ calls. The phone microphone is used when taking videos, using QQ voices and Wechat voice. It depends on different systems of mobile phones. iOS system only supports WeChat voice, calls and QQ calls with the microphone of BTR3K. If taking a video, the phone mircophone is used.
4.EQ is invalid under BTR3K's LDAC. Is it a hardware defect or a software problem?
Notices: Third-party music apps could also use the EQ adjustment if it is the function of BTR3K. If it indicates that the EQ is invalid, you can turn on the EQ switch and reboot the BTR3K to activate the EQ function. EQ invalid in LDAC codec It is not a hardware defect. Since the audio processing of LDAC is more special than other Bluetooth formats, we are still doing related debugging, and striving to achieve the same effect as other Bluetooth formats, but it will take a certain amount of time.
